Ashley is a Burmese grey grand mama cat. She came to us unloved and unwanted, totally abandoned. She is so beautiful how could anyone not want her. To begin with she was un-trusting and cautious and who can blame her. Now Ashley has the love and security she so desperately needed she has become a loving and affectionate lady. A matriarch of our cat community she watches over the other cats with the benevolent eyes of a granny, Don't be fooled if anyone steps out of line she will reprimand with a firm paw and a stern word. With Smudge she runs the pride even the old lion grand pappy Patch knows his place and when to just shut up.

Morning Pages - What we have here is a failure to communicate
I am terrible for not saying things to avoid causing another person offence. Of course, I should not go around offending everyone, that would be totally wrong, but sometimes we have to, and should be, open with our feelings, especially when it comes to love relationships. Part of any loving relationship is being able to communicate freely, we all need to listen and be heard too. If we do not share the issues causing any problems they just bigger and eventually totally insoluble. Communication is one of the things that helps keep any relationship solid.

600 Seconds at Lunch - When I think about jealousy...
This has got to be one of the most destructive emotions in existence. I have no doubt it touches us all at some point in life. In most cases we get over it and get on with our lives. To allow jealousy to control and take over life is dangerous. It blinds us to reality and rationality. If its related to another person we not only hurt ourselves but the other person too. It also effects those around us and that other person too. More often than not jealousy is unfounded and irrational. So what if an ex has moved on, how you deal with that says heaps about you. Jealously is based on ones on low self esteem and insecurities.
