And Its Goodnight From Me - Moggy Merlin

Merlin is a special gentleman just as his namesake of Arthurian legend was. He is a mischievous mog full of spirit and impishness. Merlin is one of our one-eyed cats not that it bothers him in the slightest, he still gets into the thick of it. Merlin loves a fuss but isn’t too keen on being picked up, socializing with mere humans is at his discretion not the humans. He loves his kibble especially Whiskas as it has cheesy pockets which is Merlin’s favourite treat second only to cat nip, but it’s a close run thing. Merlin hangs out with Rave or twins, Bungle and Gemmy. He is not the most patient cat on the planet and expects his wants met instantly or he struts off in a grumpy.

Morning Pages - Taxis Drive Me Nuts

What is it with taxi companies? They moan like crap if you don’t book and when you do they are either late or just plain don’t turn up at all. The paying customer is just getting a raw deal no matter how one looks at it. I appreciate that some time periods are busy, exceptionally so, but surely, they know that. It’s not astro physics to realize that at busy times extra drivers and cars are a good idea. When you call to find out where your taxi has got to the telephone operator is either glib and uncaring or just plain rude. I guess it is just another example of how our service industry, once something we could be justly proud of, has gone right down the pan.
