600 Seconds at Lunch - What in life gives you pain?

As a mother the greatest physical pain is that which is also the most precious gift, the birth of a child. That physical pain leaves you as soon as your baby is placed in your arms and for me it was replaced by the most beautiful and wonderful sense of unconditional love.My sons are now both fine young men even if the do tower over me. They still cause me stress and pain of course. I hurt for them when they get hurt. When they bitch at me I hurt. OK they have been taught to bith by a queen bitch so what do I expect!! I hurt every time Jamie's problems get in the way of his life, it is so unfair. I hurt when Paul's ex-girlfriend treated him bad. But for all the pain of being a mother, I am more than rewarded by the joy of being mum to two wonderful sons. I have seen them grow and yes I wish they had not grown quite so fast or so tall. I am lucky and when all is said and done they are the only good thing to come from the human disaster of my relationship with their father. Something good had to come from that.
